Kiel Institute for the World Economy

I am a PhD student at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Before starting my PhD in 2018, I studied at HU Berlin and the University of Mannheim. My research interests lie in empirical environmental and public economics. Besides the evaluation of the impact of the EU-ETS on the German manufacturing sector, I have two additional projects. In one of which I seek to estimate the effects of electricity taxes on firms’ markups. In the other, I analyze how temperature affects energy use and carbon emissions in the manufacturing sector.
