Anne Brenøe is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Zurich. She received her PhD in 2018 from the University of Copenhagen. Her primary research interests are in applied microeconomics --particularly within child development, gender, education, and labor economics. She studies how childhood conditions and experiences affect the accumulation of human capital. In current projects, she focuses on gender differences in human capital formation and behavior, causal effects of breastfeeding, parenting style, and parental leave from the perspective of firms.
