Calin Arcalean

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a CESifo Research Fellow. I am currently interested in the dynamic implications of fiscal competition and structural change at different levels of aggregation. I have also written on the political economy of public education spending and regional development. My research has been published in Journal of Public Economics, Economic Inquiry, Social Choice and Welfare and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
