Christian Haas

Christian Haas is a PhD candidate in economics and teaching associate at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU). His research interests lie in the fields of environmental economics and long-term economic development. His current work focuses on the role of financial markets in the process of decoupling economic activity and carbon emissions.
He studied Business Administration (B.A.) and Economics (B.A. and M.Sc.) at JLU. He was visiting research fellow at Brown University and visiting lecturer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He published in The Energy Journal.
