Corina Boar is Assistant Professor of Economics at NYU and a Faculty Research Fellow at the NBER. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester. Prior to joining NYU, Corina Boar was a Postoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University. Corina Boar's research is in the field of macroeconomics. She uses both data analysis and quantitative models to understand the determinants of individuals' consumption-saving and labor market decisions, as well as ensuing implications for the evolution of macroeconomic aggregates, inequality and the effectiveness of government policies.
