Helke Seitz

Helke is an applied microeconomist with a research interest in development economics (financial education and financial literacy, constraints of micro and small enterprises) and labour economics (personality traits, on-the-job training, labour supply). In my research I use randomized controlled trials and survey data to study fundamental and applied questions. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the German Institue for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and I hold a PhD from the University of Hannover. I recently published in the Journal of Human Resources, Demography and Economic Development and Cultural Change.
