Isabel Hovdahl
Norwegian University of Science and TechnologyIsabel Hovdahl is completing her PhD in the Department of Economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She has held visiting positions at University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and at BI Norwegian Business School Centre for Applied Macroeconomics and Commodity Prices. Her primary research interest is in environmental economics, with a focus on the estimation of the social and economic impacts of climate change. In her work, she focuses on incorporating new insights from the climate sciences, as well as applying new methods from machine learning, in empirical research on climate change.
