Jeanne Tschopp
University of BernJeanne Tschopp is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bern. Her research involves understanding how labor market frictions and the structure of wage formation impact the functioning of labor markets. Currently, she focuses on the demand side of the labor market, and in particular, on the implications of search and bargaining mechanisms for local labor market outcomes, trade incentives and firms’ labor demand decisions in Germany and the US. She is also particularly interested in the effect of technological change on wage inequality across firms.
