Roy Kouwenberg

Roy Kouwenberg is Professor Finance and Chair of the Ph.D. Program at Mahidol Unversity in Bangkok, and visiting researcher at the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. His research interests include behavioural economics and finance, especially focusing on the impact of loss aversion and ambiguity aversion on portfolio choice. Roy’s work has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science and the Review of Economics & Statistics, amongst others. Roy has worked as a quantitative analyst in asset management and he is a CFA charterholder. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Pension Economics and Finance.
