Christina Fong

Carnegie Mellon University

Christina Fong is Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Social and Decision Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University and a CESifo Research Network Fellow. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Working in the fields of public economics, political economy, and experimental economics, much of her research investigates determinants of public and private generosity, with a focus on the role of fairness in redistributive attitudes and behavior.

Felix Forster

I am a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Warwick. My research interests lie at the intersection of development economics and industrial organization. I currently study the automobile sector in Uganda and market concentration in the context of trade liberalization in Myanmar. Prior to starting my PhD, I worked for five years as a professional economist in the antitrust and competition practice of an international economic consultancy.

Denis Fougère

Denis Fougère is Senior Research Fellow at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique), member of LIEPP (Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire d'Evaluation des Politiques Publiques) and of OSC (Observatoire Sociologique du Changement) at Sciences Po (Paris). He is also an associate professor at Sciences Po (Paris). His main fields are labor economics, microeconometrics, duration and transition models, discrete choice models, microeconometric evaluation of active labor programs and social policies.

Riccardo Franceschin

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Bocconi University, Milan, under the supervision of prof. Antonella Trigari and I will be available in the next European Job-Market. My research interests are in Labour Economics and Macroeconomics. More specifically search and matching, heterogeneous agents models and recruitment strategies. I did a visiting period in 2019 at UCL under the supervision of prof. Fabien Postel-Vinay and Morten Ravn.

Eleonora Freddi

I’m a behavioral economist and I use experimental and econometrics methods to investigate strategic behaviors of individuals. I have a specific interest in empirical applications of strategic ignorance, discrimination and bequest motives. After obtaining a PhD from Stockholm School of Economics and spending two years as assistant professor at Tilburg University, I joined Telenor Research, where I am working on attitudes towards privacy, trust and consumer perceptions of fair pricing.

Naomi Friedman-Sokuler

Bar Ilan University

Naomi is an assistant professor (tenure-track) in the Economics department at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. Her research focuses on the complex relationships between gender and ethnicity/race and economic outcomes. Specifically the ways social norms and institutions foster or inhibit processes of social mobility, inclusion and equality. She received her PhD from Ben Gurion University in 2017 for her dissertation using administrative data on Israeli students to empirically analyze gender streaming patterns in STEM matriculation electives, focusing on choice and its relationship to ethnicity and individual characteristics. Naomi is also a member of Masar Institute for Education, Nazareth, in the development of innovative and sustainable educational practices and theory, as tools for social inclusion and community empowerment.

Christian Friedrich is a Principal Researcher in the International Economic Analysis Department at the Bank of Canada. His research interests are located in the fields of international macroeconomics and international finance. Christian Friedrich holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland.

Fulvia Fringuellotti is an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Her current research focuses on financial intermediation, household finance and corporate finance. Fulvia holds a Ph.D. in banking and finance from the University of Zurich in Switzerland.
