Prior to starting the Ph.D., I received a Diploma in International Economics from the University of Tuebingen in Germany. My research interests lie in the area of International Finance and mainly focus on the effects of fiscal, monetary and labor market policy in integrated economies. An additional line of research covers mergers and acquisitions in emerging countries.

I received a PhD in Finance from the University of Geneva and the Swiss Finance Institute in June 2018. My research is focused on the theory and computation of general equilibrium models with heterogeneity and its application to macro-financial models. I am interested in the implications for wealth inequality, stock market participation, asset prices and firm financing.

Filippo Pusterla

He hold a master’s degree in economics from the University of Zurich. His research interests are economics of education and labor economics, with a particular focus on the youth labor market. In his PhD thesis, he analyses the complementarities between vocational and professional education and training and digitalization.

In 2018 he was awarded Fulbright Fellowship and spent a year visiting the Department of Economics at Harvard University. Prior to commencing his PhD in September 2015 Lukasz spent seven years working at the Bank in various policy roles analysing UK and global economies.
