Regina Seibel

University of Zurich

I am a third-year PhD candidate at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. My research interests are in the fields of Industrial Organization and Competition Policy, in particular merger and innovation, collusion and platforms. Previous to my PhD, I did my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at LMU Munich, Department of Economics, during which I visited the Monash University, Melbourne, and the University of California, Berkeley.

Arnim Seidlitz

Humboldt-University Berlin

Arnim Seidlitz is a PhD-candidate in Economics at Humboldt University Berlin and the Berlin School of Economics (BSE). He earned his M. Sc at the University of Bonn and gained working expierence from DIW Berlin, IZA Bonn and ifo institute in Munich. In 2018, Arnim joined the PhD program of the BSE and the Chair of Econometrics at Humboldt University. His supervisor is Bernd Fitzenberger. Arnim is working on the fields of educational and labor economics, especially on the effect of maternity on labor market careers.

Helke Seitz

DIW Berlin

Helke is an applied microeconomist with a research interest in development economics (financial education and financial literacy, constraints of micro and small enterprises) and labour economics (personality traits, on-the-job training, labour supply). In my research I use randomized controlled trials and survey data to study fundamental and applied questions. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the German Institue for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and I hold a PhD from the University of Hannover. I recently published in the Journal of Human Resources, Demography and Economic Development and Cultural Change.

Erika Seki

Osaka University

Erika works at the Graduate School of Economics at Osaka University. She obtained PhD in Economics from Facultes Universitaires Notre Dame de la Paix (University of Namur) in Belgium. Prior to her PhD study she had worked at Fishery Department, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Her research interests include empirical studies of collective actions and fisheries management.

Ali Sen

University of Hamburg

I have a PhD degree from the University of Essex, and I will be soon joining to the University of Hamburg as a Research Associate. My research interests are structural change (with a strong emphasis on the services), economic growth/development, productivity and intersectoral linkages.

Marco Serena

Max Planck Institute, Munich

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance (Munich). Prior to this, I was a graduate student at the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid), where I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics in 2017.

Benjamin Ly Serena

Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen

I'm a Postdoc at Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen. I mainly work within Health Economics on topics related to health policy and inequality in health. Other research interests include Public Economics, Applied Microeconomics, Family Economics.

Gyula Seres

Humboldt University of Berlin

I am Gyula Seres, Research Associate at Humboldt University Berlin (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin). I received my PhD in economics at Tilburg University in 2016. My fields of interest cover topics in industrial organization, microeconomics, experimental economics and competition policy. I am currently an external affiliate of the Tilburg Law and Economics Center, the Economic Science Laboratory at The University of Arizona and acting as a lecturer of Berlin School of Economics (formerly BDPEMS).

Orhun Sevinc

Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey

Orhun Sevinc obtained his PhD from LSE Economics Department in 2017. He is currently an economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. His main research interests are in macro and labor economics with particular focus on the changing structure of employment and wages. His current research studies how technological change affects wage inequalities and reallocation of employment across sectors and occupations.

Ittai Shacham

Tilburg University

Ittai is a PhD candidate in Economics at Tilburg University focusing on empirical industrial organization and media economics. Prior to joining Tilburg, Ittai worked at the Israeli Competition Commission (ICC), where he received the distinguished public service award. As part of his work at the ICC, he participated in the design and establishment of a credit information sharing scheme in Israel. Ittai obtained a joint Bachelor degree in law and economics, and a Research Master degree in economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
