Sampreet Goraya

I am a PhD student at the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. My primary areas of research are Macroeconomics and Development Economics with a particular focus on Firm Dynamics. My current research ranges from answering macro-development questions using structural approach to thinking about new ways of estimating the changing nature of technology and its implications.

Yajna Govind

I'm a PhD student at PSE & INED under the supervision of Thomas Piketty. I work on migration and inequality related topics. I will be on the Job Market in 2020/21 and my JM paper looks at the causal effect of obtaining the nationality of the host country on the integration of foreigners in the labour market. I am also interested in the labour market situation of second-generation foreigners.

I joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. I specialize in labor economics and family economics, in particular structural estimation of different types of models. Before working in Hong Kong, I obtained my Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania in 2014 and B.A. in finance from Peking University in 2009.

Christian Haas

Christian Haas is a PhD candidate in economics and teaching associate at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU). His research interests lie in the fields of environmental economics and long-term economic development. His current work focuses on the role of financial markets in the process of decoupling economic activity and carbon emissions.
He studied Business Administration (B.A.) and Economics (B.A. and M.Sc.) at JLU. He was visiting research fellow at Brown University and visiting lecturer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He published in The Energy Journal.

Olle Hammar

I am a PhD Student at the Department of Economics at Uppsala University. I am also affiliated with the Research Institute of Industrial Economics, Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies, Uppsala Center for Labor Studies, Uppsala Immigration Lab and the Association of Swedish Development Economists. My main research interests are inequality, development and public economics.

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Hong Kong. My research interests are macro-finance, asset pricing and macroeconomics.​

Anna Hartmann

I am a PhD student at University of Cologne. I hold a bachelor's and a master's degree in economics from University of Cologne and spent part of my studies at University of Edinburgh, London School of Economics, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. My research crosses the fields of macroeconomics and labor economics.
