Britta Augsburg

Britta Augsburg, Associate Director at the IFS researches the effectiveness of programs and policies that tackle constraints to productivity of poverty affected individuals and households, with a particular focus on credit and technology adoption constraints. Analysing the effectiveness of microfinance to induce uptake of household toilets has focused a significant amount of her research towards the field of sanitation, researching constraints to uptake both on the demand and the supply side, as well as understanding the complementarity of sanitation and other investments.

Elliot Aurissergues

I am currently assistant researcher at OFCE. Before, I was a postdoc in macroeconomics at Aix Marseille and a PHD student at Paris School of Economics. My fields of interests include Financial Macroeconomics, Business Cycles, Monetary and Fiscal Policy, and more generally everything directly or indirectly related to economic policy.

Stanislav Avdeev

Stanislav Avdeev is an MPhil student at the Tinbergen Institute, the Netherlands. He works as a research assistant at the Center for Institutional Studies at the Higher School of Economics, Russia. He is an applied microeconomist with a strong interest in causal inference in education. His research focuses on the economics of education, labour economics, and policy evaluation

Abdurrahman Aydemir

Abdurrahman B. Aydemir is a Professor of economics at Sabancı University, a Research Fellow in CreAM and ERF, research affiliate at IZA, and a spokesperson for IZA World of Labor. His research focuses on immigration, education, and intergenerational mobility. He has published in leading academic journals including Journal of the European Economic Association, Journal of Labor Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, European Economic Review. He has received numerous research grants from national and international institutions and best paper awards in conferences.

Miren Azkarate-Askasua

I am going to be a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow in Economics in September 2020 and then I will join Mannheim University as an assistant professor in September 2021. My research focuses on the intersection between macroeconomics and labor economics but I also have broader interests in applied econometrics, international trade and industrial organization. During my Ph.D. at Toulouse School of Economics I studied the misallocation and welfare effects of labor market power form firms and unions and the determinants of wages.

Milian Bachem

Milian Bachem got his first degree in Economics at the University of Amsterdam. He went on to obtain an MSc degree in Financial Economics with honours at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Currently, he is doing research at the Dept. of Economics at the Erasmus University.

Benjamin Bachi

Benjamin Bachi is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Haifa, Department of Economics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Tel Aviv University in 2015 and then spent two years as senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. His research interests include Microeconomic Theory, Industrial organization, Bounded Rationality and Behavioural Economics.

Anton Badev

Ivo Bakota

Ivo is a Post-doctoral researcher at Munich Center for the Economics of Aging, Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy. He is interested in macroeconomics, macro-finance, macro-models with heterogeneous agentseconomics of aging, and computational economics.

Fabian Bald

I am a third-year PhD student at the Chair of Economics at the Mercator School of Management (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany) and the doctoral program of the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS). Before joining the RGS in October 2017 I obtained degrees in Economics from the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (B.Sc.) and the Université Catholique de Louvain (M.Sc.). During my research I'm currently working on topics related to regional and urban economics as well as international trade.
